This licence shall not come into force until the holder of the licence has confirmed in writing to the Licensing Authority that the following matters have been addressed and all necessary works completed. ¿ The door closing arm for one of the doors leading from the main hall to the side entrance shall be operating correctly. ¿ The door closing arm for one of the doors leading from the small hall to the rear exit shall be operating correctly. ¿ The scenery frame installed on the stage shall be securely fixed to the stage.
Scenery or Properties other than those required for use in the current production should not be kept on the stage without approval of St Paulinus PCC. Approval may be given where scenery or properties are required for use in rehearsals of impending productions.
The means of suspension for scenery should be robustly, and safely, affixed to both the walls and flooring by adequate means.
All scenery used on stage including cloths, drapes, gauzes, artificial plants and foliage and fabric decorations must be maintained flame retardant.
Real flame or pyrotechnics should not be used without the consent of the Local Authority.
Stage lighting is fitted with safety chains.
Seating should be in fixed rows to stop movement of individual seats and means of escape and gangways are unobstructed (inside and out) and available for use at all times.
No standing to be permitted in gangways or seat rows.
