Licence conditions (16)

Where a programme includes a film recommended by the licensing authority as falling into the 12A, 15 or 18 category no person appearing to be under the age of 12 and unaccompanied, or under 15 or 18 as appropriate, shall be admitted to any part of the programme; and the licence holder shall display in a conspicuous position at the entrance to the auditorium a notice in the following terms -
PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF [INSERT APPROPRIATE AGE] CANNOT BE ADMITTED TO ANY PART OF THE PROGRAMME
The lettering shall be ^IN; cm high.
Where films of different categories form part of the same programme, the notice shall refer to the oldest age restriction. This condition does not apply to members of staff under the relevant age while on-duty provided that the prior written consent of the person's parent or legal guardian has first been obtained and is kept available for inspection on the premises."

There shall be no admission or re-admission into the premises after 22.30 hours.
Alcohol may only be sold to persons having a table meal or those waiting to be seated prior to having a table meal.
No sale of alcohol shall be made unless the designated premises supervisor or a personal licence holder is present on the premises.
Hire of the club premises to be through a full (not honorary) member of the club or elected club official only who shall be responsible for the conduct of those attending the event for which the club premises is hired for the duration of the hire period.
Where regulated entertainment is to be provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day), the noise arising from, or associated with, the activity shall be inaudible at the façade (facade meaning the elevation or elevations of buildings used for habitation that face towards the licensed premises) of nearby residential premises.
Boxing and wrestling entertainment events shall not be provided unless not less than 28 days notice of the event has been given to the licensing authority and the health and safety enforcing authority.
No public access to the premises shall occur through the rear fire doors. This condition shall not restrict the use of the doors in the event of an emergency.
The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 21" scheme. Whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 21 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 21" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s) and inside at the premises bar servery area. In addition, signs shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position, both inside and outside of the premises, warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. UK photo driving licence; or d. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority.

All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on: i) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: a. operation of the "Challenge 21" scheme; b. types of acceptable ID; c. method of recording challenges; and d. likely consequence of making an underage sale. ii) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police, community support or authorised Council officers upon demand.
Where a customer aged 18 years or over indicates that they are purchasing alcohol for a 16 or 17 year old, to drink with their meal, the 16 or 17 year old shall also be required to produce a valid proof of age. No younger that 14 years for cider and sherry, and 16 for wine and alcohol.
Signs shall be displayed inside and outside of the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of eighteen.
