Licence conditions (19)

Conditions carried over from Licensing Act 1964 (Club Registration Certificate):
S.49(3) Licensing Act 1964:- There shall be no alteration of the rules of the club without the consent of the Licensing Authority so as to authorise sales of intoxicating liquor not already authorised under the rules except such sales as permitted by S.49(4) of the Act.
Additional Steps Taken to Promote the Four Licensing Objectives:
General:-
Club management, steward and bar ataff are informed of the Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to comply with all relevant provisions of the Act.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder:-
Admission to the club is confined to members and bona fide guests. All guests and affiliated visitors must sign the relevant visitors book. Club employees are instructed not to admit or serve members or guests who behave in a drunk or disorderly fashion. Misconduct is reported to the committee to consider disiplinary action.
Public Safety:-
The club complies with Health and Safety Precautions regulations. Following risk assessment, preventative and control measures are in place to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees and entertainers while on the premises. The club complies with advised capacity limits. All fire exits are clearly marked and emergency lighting installed.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance:-
When live or recorded music is played all reasonable steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
The Protection of Children from Harm:-
No person under the age of 16 is permitted in to the club. Children between the age of 16-18 must either be junior members or be accompanied by a parent. No alcohol will be served to anybody under the age of 18. Accompanied children may attend the club on private functions.
Conditions attached after a Hearing:
As advised by the Fire Authority, the maximum permissible number of persons that may be present within the area indicated as used for licensable activities at one time must not exceed 200.
The outside area to be cleared by 22.30 hours
Rear spot lights to be turned off by 22.30 hours.
No person under the age of 16 is permitted into the club. Children between the age of 16-18 must either be junior members or be accompanied by a parent. No alcohol will be served to anybody under the age of 18.
Accompanied children to be allowed in the club for private functions if they are restricted to a non-smoking area separated by a closed door from smoking areas.
