Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
LA03, Section 19: Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premises licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
General description of the premises:
" We would like several areas of Sandringham School to be covered for the sale of alcohol. We do not need the whole school to be covered - only the following areas:
" Main school hall: The hall is situated in the centre of the campus. It has 3 fire exits leading directly to outside and 2 exits leading to other parts of the building. It is set back from the road. Next to the main hall is the
" Small hall: This area is used for serving food during the day as the kitchen area is to one side. During the events where alcohol would be sold, it is likely that this area would be set up as 'the bar'. It has 1 exit leading directly to outside and 2 exits that lead to other parts of the building.
" Sixth form centre: This area is often used for small events as an alternative to the 2 hall spaces. It is situated towards the back of the campus.
" The Sandpit Theatre: The theatre holds it's own premises licence (LN/200600282) but at the time of application we did not request the sale of alcohol to be included. The theatre is at the front of the campus. It seats 268 people at maximum capacity. It has a main entrance foyer at the front and 2 centrally situated fire exits within the auditorium. The sale of alcohol would be from the foyer.
" Consumption of alcohol will be restricted to these areas.

" Anyone wishing to use the areas detailed for any events will be given written guidelines (copy enclosed) which outline the details of the premises licence and suggestions for 'policing' events.
The prevention of crime and disorder:
" Attendance to each event will be monitored by the sale or distribution of tickets.
Public safety:
" Pathways and areas to e used are clearly lit.
The prevention of public nuisance:
" All people leaving the event will be reminded they are in a residential area, either by signs or staff/volunteers situated by the exit.
The protection of children from harm:
" As we are a school, we have clear guidelines as to what events we allow on school premises.
