Licence conditions (13)

At all times when the premises operate under the terms of the premises licence CCTV cameras serving the premises shall: a) be maintained fully operational and in good working order; b) make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and the facial images of the purchasers of alcohol; and c) ensure that images show an accurate date of when they were made.
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand; and if requested the original, or a copy , shall be provided. Any copies provided shall be in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
All customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises
The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the: ¿ ¿PASS¿ hologram logo; ¿ a passport; or ¿ an EU photo full driving licence.
A refusals book, or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
Staff shall receive regular training a minimum of 4 times a year, on the prevention of underage sales and the use of the CCTV system. Such training shall be recorded and those records shall, on request , be made available to the Police, community safety officer or authorised officer of the Council.
All containers of alcohol sold shall be marked with a label identifying the premises and accompanied by a receipt showing the name and address of the premises. Labels suitable for use in identifying the premises include ultra-violet labels bearing a unique premises reference mark that are applied in a prescribed manner both of which should be agreed with the Police.
All alcohol displayed and sold at the premises shall be kept behind a counter and dispensed only by a member of staff.
Alcohol sold at the premises shall be restricted to beer, wine or cider.
There shall be no deliveries of alcohol at any time.
Permanent signs shall be displayed both inside and outside of the premises bearing the words ¿ It is a criminal offence to purchase alcohol on behalf of persons under 18 years old.¿
The sale of alcohol shall be an ancillary to the operation of the premises as a takeaway restaurant.
No alcohol shall be sold/served or supplied unless ordered and paid for at the same time as a meal to the value of £7 or more. CONDITIONS 1 TO 13 ABOVE WERE IMPOSED BY BEXLEY MAGISTRATES ON 11 NOVEMBER 2008
