Licence conditions (34)

For the purpose of paragraph 6(8) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this licence is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933,which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises;
ii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours permitted under this licence, however this restriction does not prohibit:
During the first twenty minutes after the permitted hour, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club; and
The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces;
iii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied to a canteen or mess
iv) No child shall be employed:
So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
To do any work other than light work;
Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
For more than two hours on any Sunday;
Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school;
For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; c. make and retain clear images that cover the entrance/exit of the premises and the alcohol display area; and d. show an accurate date and time that the images were made
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
The original CCTV images, or a copy, shall be provided to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person within 72 hours of a request having been made.
No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 3 months thereafter on a. the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: i. the operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; ii. types of acceptable ID; iii. the method of recording challenges; and iv. the likely consequence of making an underage sale, b. refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; c. proxy sales; and d. the terms, conditions and restrictions of the premises licence
Such training shall be recorded, a version of which must be kept in English, and these records shall be made available to any police or ommunity support officer or authorised person within 48 hours of the request having been made.
A till prompt system will be in operation at the store and used for the refusal of all age restricted products.
An electronic refusal log will be operated and maintained and will be produced to a relevant officer of the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority upon request.
Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the retail entrance to the premises and inside at the point of sale.
Spirits will be located behind the counter.
Signs shall be displayed inside the premise where the alcohol is on display, by the point of sale and near the entrance/exit of the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.
The Premises Licence Holder shall be permitted to undertake the delivery of goods including alcohol by a third-party delivery company. There shall be no deliveries or collections of alcohol to or from the premises Monday to Sunday between 23:00 and 06:00 on the following day.
A person making a delivery which includes alcohol shall operate the Challenge principle. Alcohol will not be delivered to any person who is challenged and fails to provide an acceptable form of ID.
The staff at the premises shall ensure that delivery drivers enter and leave the premises in a quiet and respectful manner. Delivery drivers will be encouraged to not play loud music or rev vehicles if waiting for deliveries.
All delivery sales of alcohol must be paid for at the time of ordering. Payment shall be made by debit or credit card, or electronic payment such as Apple Pay, Android Pay, etc.
