Staff to have regular training on all Licensing matters (at least every 6 months) with written records of all training kept at the shop for inspection by the authorities.
A minimum of 2 staff to be in the shop at all times All staff selling alcohol must be authorised in writing by the DPS No staff under the age of 18 to sell alcohol.
A Personal Licence holder to be on duty at all times when alcohol is available.
All staff and DPS to have a good conversational grasp of the English language, to be able to effectively read and speak English in order to implement the "Challenge 21" and understand what it means.
Installation of a CCTV system, recording continuously when the store is open, which is of a standard acceptable to the police, producing good quality evidential recordings to a format, which can be viewed on police equipment without enhancement.
CCTV to be maintained in good working order and the images in a viewable format to be kept for one calendar month with the images downloaded from a hard drive.
The CCTV to cover the shop floor where alcohol is stored, entrances and exits (including the immediateexternal frontage area).
All alcohol sales to be recorded visually with the addition of sound recording at the till area at all times.
If the visual recording system fails to work or record at any time, the faulty recording equipment should be fixed within a reasonable time (48 hours), after which time no alcohol sales are to be transacted until the equipment is working again.
All staff to be trained to be able to download any recording requested by the police at that time, in order to be available to be taken away for inspection.
No sale of alcohol to be made to customers suspected to have already consumed a lot of alcohol (ie: be drunk)
