At all times when the premises operate under the terms of the premises licence CCTV cameras shall a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. it shall make and retain clear images that include all points of sale of alcohol; c The CCTV recordings shall show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made; d All images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days; e CCTV recordings shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand; f . The original, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person; g. Copies to be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software; h No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
The premises shall operate in accordance with the ?Challenge 25? scheme. Whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. Notices advertising that the premises operate a ?Challenge 25? scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises. In addition Signs shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position both inside and outside the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under eighteen years of age. The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport c. UK photo driving licence; or d. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority
A challenge book shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase of alcohol by a customer appearing to be under the age of 25 has been challenged. This book must be made available for inspection by any Police officer, community support officer or an authorised Council officer immediately upon request
All containers of alcohol sold shall be marked with an ultra violet (UV) label or UV mark identifying the premises. The ultra violet label or marks shall bear the following unique premises reference mark RY**. The UV labels or mark shall be applied to all retail packs/units displayed for sale within the premises. The UV label or mark shall be positioned near to the bar coding unless an alternative position is agreed in writing with the Licensing Authority.
Mr and [name removed], the personal licence holders, will attend and pass the National Certificate of Personal Licence holders before alcohol is sold to customers.
The Designated premises supervisor will maintain an up to date training manual and will ensure that staff comply with the manual.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and at six monthly intervals thereafter on: i) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: a) operation of the ?Challenge 25? scheme b) types of acceptable ID c) method of recording challenges; and d) likely consequence of making an underage sale; ii) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; iii) proxy sales; iv) the operation of the CCTV equipment. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall on request be made available to any Police, Community Support or authorised Council officers immediately upon demand
No sale of alcohol shall be made unless that sale is conducted by a sales assistant who is authorised in writing by the designated premises supervisor. (CONDITIONS 1 TO 8 ABOVE WERE IMPOSED BY BEXLEY MAGISTRATES COURT ON 28 SEPTEMBER 2010)
