Licence conditions (36)

There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.)
There shall be provided at the premises suitable and sufficient containers for the storage and disposal of waste foods and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed and maintained so as to prevent access, except by staff.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises they shall provide at or near the point of sale, sufficient receptacles to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrapping etc.
No refuse, including bottles, shall be disposed of from the premises into a receptacle where such disposal is likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the area of the premises at any time between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am on any day except Sunday when no such disposal shall take place before 10.00 am.
PS5 - Licensee Safety Inspection Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out by the licence holder to ensure that the premises are safe for use.
All sales will be for consumption off the premises.
The business will be run by the applicant who are the proprietors and hold personal licences.
All staff will be trained in aspects of licensed sales which includes dealing with young people.
Fire fighting equipment is on the premises and there are alternative exits.
The management and staff will be trained in dealing with liquor sales lawfully and responsibly.
The shop will operate an “under 25” age proof policy, with records of refused sales.
The premises will have CCTV surveillance.
There is also a security alarm, with Redcare support.
The liquor displayed for sale is in the immediate vicinity of and protected by the shop counter.
Other stock is secure in a locked store room.
The premises are safe for public use and access. Staff are responsible for keeping public areas clean and free from obstruction.
Access is by one shallow step only and the shop floor is all on one level.
Fire precautions include fire fighting equipment and emergency exit to the rear yard and side passage.
Congregations of people hanging about will be discouraged. CONDITIONS ADDED BY MINOR VARIATION (24th November 2021)
Consideration should be given to a maximum alcohol allowance per order. The advice would be four bottles of wine, one bottle of spirits and/or twelve cans of lager or mixed alcoholic drink.
Delivery staff should be trained to require proof of age of customers and acceptable verification. Training records to be kept at the premises.
Delivery drivers will have hand sanitiser of at least 60% alcohol with them at all times they are working.
Delivery drivers will wash their hands between each set of deliveries and collection from the premises.
The delivery driver will carry with them at all times details of orders which will include: customer’s name, age, address, telephone number and details of the order. These details are to be produced upon request to any Police Officer or any other Authorised Officer who may wish to check.
Customers must be present at the property to which the delivery is being made and provide their surname and age and, where appropriate, photographic identification if practicable and the driver is able to comply with social distancing.
A refusals register will be maintained, detailing reasons for refused sales.
Delivery sales must be via telephone or online sales only with no cash sales. Payment to be made at time of order.
No horn will be sounded by the delivery driver upon arrival at the delivery address and deliveries at anti-social hours will be effected with the minimum of noise.
Alcohol will only be delivered to a residential address given at the time of the order and not to a public place.
Full address details, including postcode, must be given when placing an order.
Challenge 25 - if the driver considers the recipient of alcohol to appear under 25, then the driver must refuse delivery unless suitable ID can be shown within the practicalities of two metre social distancing.
If no identification is produced by a person of appearance under 25 then no delivery of alcohol will be made (no ID - no delivery).
A log of all deliveries will be kept at the premises for twelve months and open to inspection by a Police Officer or other authorised officer.
Alcohol in the delivery vehicle will consist only of the orders already placed and be detailed on an invoice so that individual orders can be identified.
No alcohol that has been ordered will be kept in the delivery vehicle during the operating hours of the premises.
Delivery will also be refused if the driver believes the alcohol being purchased on behalf of another person who is not 18. All deliveries to be recorded in legible log taken by driver to contain - a. Name and address of person placing order b. Full delivery address c. Time and date of alcohol delivered d. Form of proof of age (if applicable) e. If delivery refused, basis for refusal f.
