Film Exhibitions
The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by Bexley Council.
Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound; and
ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain.
Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at all exit doors reminding patrons to leave quietly and with consideration to local residents.
A system of monitoring noise levels will be effected to ensure that neighbours are not affected by noise emanating from the premises.
There shall be no new admissions or re-admissions to the premises after 23:00 hours.
No unaccompanied children will be allowed in the premises.
No children under the age of 16 years shall be allowed after 21.00 hours in the premises.
Live music will be performed by a maximum of three performers.
The DPS shall have completed a recognised drug awareness training course.
The Premises licence holder shall draw up and implement a premises specific drugs policy. The Policy shall be reviewed as necessary but at least annually. A record shall be kept that a review of the policy has been made. A copy of the policy shall be provided to the Police and Licensing authority on request.
Staff shall be provided with drug awareness training and be briefed on the drugs policy applicable to the premises.
Customers shall not be permitted to take drinks into the garden area of the premises after 23.00 hours.
All events shall be promoted by the management of the premises (no "outside promoters" shall be used).
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made; d. all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and the original CCTV images, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person. e. The original or a copy of CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software. f. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be Challenge
The premises shall operate in accordance with the challenge 25 scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. Notices advertising that the premises operates a Challenge 25 scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s) and inside at the premises bar servery area. The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. EU/UK photo driving licence; or d. other form of ID as agreed in writing with the Licensing Authority. A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the Challenge 25 scheme shall be recorded. The challenge book, or other form of record, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police, community support officer or authorised person upon demand. All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 6 months thereafter on: i) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: operation of the Challenge 25 scheme; types of acceptable ID method of recording challenges; and likely consequence of making an underage sale. ii) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; iii) proxy sales iv) the operation of the CCTV equipment and v) staff shall be provided with "drug awareness training" and be briefed on the drugs policy applicable to the premises. Such training shall be recorded, a version of which must be kept in English, and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police, community support or authorised person upon demand
The DPS and a representative of the premises licence holder (who may be the area manager) shall meet with the Police on a monthly basis at least from April 2011 to March 2012.
Regulated Entertainment shall only be provided inside of the premises.
