Licence conditions (11)

The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days.
The original, or a copy of the CCTV recording, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
Copies of CCTV recordings shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
All staff employed at the premises to sell alcohol shall receive regular training in the responsible retail of alcohol, on induction and not less than twice yearly thereafter. The training shall cover: a. operation of the proof of age scheme; b. types of acceptable ID; c. method of recording challenges; and d. likely consequence of making an underage sale. All training shall be recorded and a copy of the training records shall be provided immediately on demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
A refusals book or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book or other form of record, must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person immediately upon demand.
All customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Acceptable forms of identification are a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; passport; an EU photocard full driving licence; or such other form of identification as may be specified in writing by the Licensing Authority.
At all times that alcohol is being sold, the person for the time being in control of the premises shall be a personal licence holder.
The Designated Premises Supervisor shall, before any sale of alcohol is authorised under this licence, attend and pass a Level 2 National Certificate for Licensees course for Designated Premises Supervisors.
Signs shall be displayed inside and outside of the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of eighteen.
To keep a clear window policy, above 1 metre, the effect of which is that staff have a totally unobstructed view of any activity occurring in the street outside the premises. The only exceptions being the display of notices required by law and those referred to at 10 above.
