Licence conditions (31)
  1. The Licence holder shall ensure that a CCTV system is installed at the premises of a standard acceptable to police. The system shall be maintained in good working order and fully operational covering all internal licensable areas of the premises to which the public have access. All entry and exit points shall be covered enabling frontal identification (full head and shoulders images) of every person entering the premises in any light condition to an evidential standard.
  2. Management and permanent members of staff will be trained in the operation of the system with at least one member of this CCTV competent staff on duty each day.
  3. The CCTV system will have the capability to either download footage onto disc or memory stick. The footage on the CCTV system will be retained for a minimum period of 31 days before rewriting itself with correct date and time showing. The footage shall be made available to police or local authority officers upon request.
  4. If the CCTV system is broken the Licence holder get the fault rectified as soon as practicable.
  5. The Licence holder shall ensure that a log is kept with details of the dates of all work/repairs carried out on the CCTV system including the name and phone number of the engineer.
  6. The installation or upgrading of any CCTV system shall comply with current best practice.
  7. There shall be "CCTV in Operation" s igns prominently displayed at the premises.
  8. An incident book shall be kept and maintained at the premises and shall be made available for inspection by police and council officers upon request.
  9. A training log is to be kept for all staff members, in which staff sign that they have received the relevant training especially regarding the licensing objectives and Licensing Act 2003. In particular, the staff training includes a section in relation to underage sales to ensure all staff is fully briefed. They are also briefed on current recognised proof of age schemes and other forms of identification deemed to be acceptable as proof of age. In addition, staff training will emphasise drug awareness and vigilance in monitoring customer activity in and around the premises to minimize possible crime and disorder. Also, our general staff training includes steps to be taken to ensure the safety of customers in and around the perimeter of the premises, where applicable. This will be renewed every six months.
  10. A log shall be kept detailing all refused sales of alcohol. The log will include the date and time of the refused sale and the name of the member of staff who refused the sale, and all staff will be trained in the use of the refusal book. The refusals book will be examined on a regular basis (at least weekly) by the licensee and date and time of each examination to be endorsed in the book. Analysis of staff refusals and data such as the time/day of refusals to be carried out by the licensee on a regular basis in order to predict trends and identify staff training and compliance issues.
  11. Food and/or alcohol will be served by staff only.
  12. The refusal / incident / training logs are to be kept on the licensed premises and made available for inspection by the Licensing Officer, Trading Standards or the Police. In an incident log we will record the following: a) all crimes reported to the venue (b) any complaints received (c) any incidents of disorderly conduct (d) any faults in the CCTV system or searching equipment (e) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service.
  13. The premises licence holder shall ensure that the appropriate fire safety, and health and safety regulations are adhered to at the premises.
  14. The applicant will have the following controls:-
  15. Firefighting equipment: extinguishers and fire blanket.
  16. The premises has fitted heat/smoke detectors.
  17. An Electrical Certificate
  18. A Gas certificate
  19. Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Fire Direction Signage.
  20. The Premises will have an Incident logbook will include nuisance related complaints as well.
  21. There will be no stock deliveries between the hours of 23:00 and 07:00 to the premises.
  22. There will be bins outside and staff will periodically clean where necessary. Any waste removed from the premises at close time will be done in consideration of the neighbours, in regard to noise and disturbance.

  24. CHALLENGE 25. The licence holder/DPS shall operate a strict Challenge 25 policy at the premises. Posters shall be displayed inside the venue informing customers.

  29. other forms of ID which meet the criteria laid out above are also acceptable
  30. Staff who work in this venue shall be made aware of the existence and content of the age verification policy. This will include NO ID NO SALE
  31. In order to prevent underage sales of alcohol the following controls for delivery customers will be in place:- a) All sales of alcohol for delivery must be paid for at the time of ordering using a Debit or credit card. b) All delivery persons must be aged 18 years or more c) The alcohol must be packaged separately from goods that aren't subject to age related sales, so that it can easily be retrieved to prevent an illegal sale. d) Details of the order (including the type, amount of alcohol, name, and address of the customer) shall be kept at the licensed premises and must be shown on the printout dispatched with the order. This will apply to third party deliveries only. e) All delivery drivers and riders must allow any police or authorised local authority officers to inspect any alcohol or order details on request. f) The delivery of alcohol shall be made only to a residential or business address and the customer to be clearly resident inside the building. The delivery of alcohol will not be made or completed to a person in a public place (for example a street corner, park, or Bus stop) g) The person taking the order and /or making the delivery must ensure that the recipient is at least 18 years of age. Challenge 25 age verification scheme will be adopted. A check shall be made to ensure the person accepting the delivery has the debit/credit card used for the purchase. If they appear under 25 years of age, photographic ID will be required for age verification before the alcohol is handed over. Examples of appropriate ID include a passport, photographic driving licence, military ID and the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) approved age cards. h) Where a third-party courier is used to supply alcohol, they will be instructed to provide an age verification service or adopt a policy of checking age and ID at the time of delivery. The courier must adopt a policy of not allowing minors to sign for and accept deliveries.
