Licence conditions (33)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions
All bar staff will be trained in the basic law relating to the sale/supply of alcohol and a record of who has received this training will be kept at the premises.
There will be a 30 minute “chill out” period after all licensed activities cease (except late night refreshments) before the premises are closed
Alcohol and late-night refreshment shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours as shown on the licence and summary. These restrictions on authorised hours shall not apply to hotel residents and bona fide guests. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee, that is the person in whose name the premises licence is issued, shall ensure that at all times when the premises are open for any licensable activity, there are sufficient, competent staff on duty at the premises for the purpose of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
All members of staff at the premises shall seek "credible photographic proof of age evidence" from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
A suitably worded sign of sufficient size and clarity will be displayed at the point of entry to the premises and in a suitable location at any points of sale, advising customers that they may be asked to produce evidence of their age.
A conspicuous notice will be displayed on or immediately outside the premises, or which is immediately adjacent to the premises, which gives details of any restrictions relating to the admission of children to the premises.
No patrons shall be allowed to leave the premises or its curtilage (curtilage includes any patio, terrace, pavement adjoining the building or other smoking areas) whilst in the possession of any drinking vessel or open glass bottle whether empty or containing any beverage.
The Licensee will ensure that there are sufficient staff on the premises to be able to monitor the behaviour of customers whilst inside the premises and take action to alert the police and prevent problems escalating.
CCTV will be installed covering entrances, bar and dance areas, maintained in good order, and recordings will be kept for a minimum of 31 days for inspection by the police or other responsible authorised authority.

The provisions of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 apply to these premises and accordingly all fire and health and safety risk assessments will be fully implemented.
The terrace will be manned by staff when in use. Prevention of Public Nuisance
Internal and external lighting provided for the purpose of customer and staff safety and for security of the premises must be so positioned to not cause nuisance to neighbouring or adjoining properties.
Premises will remove their waste and refuse in a timely manner to a licensed waste disposal facility. General rubbish will not be taken outside until the day of collection.
An adequate number of staff must monitor the activity of persons leaving the premises and remind them of their public responsibilities where necessary.
There will be clear and legible notices displayed at exits and other circulatory areas requesting patrons to leave the premises having regard to the needs of local residents.
The volume of the amplification system shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at nearby residential properties.
In the event that additional ventilation is necessary to the function room, a detailed scheme shall be submitted to the Environmental Protection Team and only an approved scheme shall be fitted.
The main entrance to the restaurant will be off the main High Street and in the middle of the passageway.
No music will be played in the kitchen.
The extractor sysytem and the air conditioning system will be switched off at 23:00 every day.
During any regulated music event the Designated Supervisor, or nominated representative, shall monitor the music levels outside the building and immediately implement any changes necessary:- - to ensure noise levels remain non-intrusive at nearby residential properties; - in accordance with any request made by an authorised officer of the Council. Any such changes in music levels shall be maintained at the reduced level for the period of the music event. 11.The Designated Premises Supervisor, or a nominated representative, shall receive and respond to complaints throughout the duration of all events with regulated entertainment and will have full control at all times over any sound amplification. As requested on variation application in 2022 and therefore, Section 177A of the Licensing Act 2003 does not apply to the following conditions (12 & 13):
During any indoor music event the windows to the function room used for the playing of music shall be kept closed when musical entertainment (other than non-amplified or background music) is taking place.
During any indoor music event the external doors to any function room used for the playing of music shall be kept closed and only used for access and egress when musical entertainment (other than non-amplified or background music) is taking place.
Live music on the terrace shall not involve any amplification.
On sales of alcohol outside the hours of 12:00 - 23:00 is restricted to hotel residents only and their bona fide guests (with an additional hour on Bank Holiday Weekends Fri - Mon inclusive, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve)
The first floor external terrace shall not be used outside the following hours: Sunday to Thursday 07:30 to 22:00 hours Friday and Saturday 07:30 to 22:30 hours Protection of children from harm

No children under the age of 18 years to be allowed access to that part of the premises during any time when an activity or entertainment of a sexual nature is being provided.
