Licence conditions (21)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
General - Prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV will be installed and maintained in full working order. Prominent signage will be displayed throughout the premises informing people that there is CCTV in operation.
All recordings will be maintained for at least 28 days and will be made available to an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority or a police officer on demand.
The Licence holder shall ensure a building alarm system will be installed and maintained. Public safety
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that the appropriate fire safety, and health and safety regulations are applied at the premises.
The Licence holder shall ensure that staff are trained in the correct fire safety and evacuation procedures and that clear signage is displayed within the premises in case of emergencies. Prevention of public nuisance
The licence holder shall ensure that all external windows and doors are kept closed other than for ingress and egress
The licence holder shall Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at the exit requesting the public to respect the needs of nearby residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
The Licence holder shall ensure adequate waste receptacles for use by customers will be provided.
The Licence holder shall ensure that litter picks shall be carried out regularly Protection of children from harm
The licence holder shall ensure that persons under the age of 16 years will not be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises and all staff are trained in its operation. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, under the authority of a Personal Licence Holder, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be less than 25 years of age.
The licence holder shall ensure that anyone under 18 years is strictly not allowed into event which is 18+ years of age.
A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building and implement any changes and ensure that the volume is maintained at the reduced level.
The Licensee will provide and maintain signage on the premises requesting that patrons leave the area quietly.
The Licensee will carry out regular checks inside/outside the premises and clear any litter.
There shall be no live music, no playing of recorded music and no other musical entertainment of a similar description held outdoors unless previously agreed in writing with the Licensing Authority.
The volume of the amplification system shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at nearby residential properties.
The windows of the function room used for the playing of music shall be kept closed when musical entertainment (other than background music) is taking place.
The external doors to any function room used for the playing of music shall be kept firmly closed when musical entertainment (other than background music) is taking place. In the event that additional ventilation is necessary to the function room. A detailed scheme shall be submitted to the Environmental Protection Section and only an approved scheme shall be fitted.
