Licence conditions (22)

The premises shall be inspected twice annually by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) or any other such agency established in replacement of the MCA.
CCTV shall be installed on the sides and rear of the vessel and in operation at all times when the premises are open.
Groups of young persons (18-21 years) shall be accompanied by 'next generation' adults on private hirings.
Occupancy limits stated by the MCA or any successor body shall not be exceeded.
A record of passenger numbers shall be kept ashore.
The operations manual (including emergency procedures) shall be read and understood by all staff prior to commencement of their employment on board.
All crew shall be trained for emergency situations prior to commencement of their employment on board.
Children shall not be permitted on board the vessel unless accompanied by an adult, unless permission is granted by the captain.
All staff working on board the premises shall be trained in licensing laws and be fully conversant with their duties regarding the sale of alcohol prior to commencement of their employment on board.
Toughened glass shall be used from the opening of the 2006 season.
Plastic glasses shall be used during the River Festival (the Saturday stated by the River Festival Committee, the preceding Friday and the following Sunday).
There shall be no sale of alcohol between 17:00 and 19:00 on the day of the River Festival except to invited guests.
Sufficient staff shall be employed during the River Festival (Friday preceding, Saturday and Sunday following) to properly control customers.
The sale of alcohol shall cease at 24:00 on the Saturday of the River Festival, the preceding Friday and the following Sunday.
The volume of music or sound shall be controlled so that no noise is discernible at the façade of or inside noise sensitive dwellings at any time.
Anyone who appears to be under 18 and is attempting to purchase alcohol in the licensed premises or is consuming alcohol in the licensed premises shall be requested to provide any member of staff of the licensed premises with adequate and acceptable proof of age.

Official identity card issued by HM armed forces.
