A digital CCTV system shall be installed and maintained to provide coverage of all areas of the licensed premises during licensing hours and shall also include coverage of all public entry and exit points. All recordings will be kept for a minimum of 31 days and the footage shall be time stamped with the date and time. There will always be a staff member on duty who is able to produce an image when requested by the police or any other authorised officer.
All recordings from the premises stored on portable mediums (e.g. flash cards, hard drives etc.) will be securely stored.
Members of staff will be trained to operate the CCTV system and records will be kept of this training which will be available to authorised officers upon request.
A written statement of authorisation will be kept and maintained by the DPS listing all members of staff who are authorised to sell alcohol. This list will be available to authorised officers upon request.
All members of staff who are authorised to sell alcohol will carry formal ID to indicate that they are authorised.
An incident log shall be maintained and kept at the premises for at least 6 months and will be available to the police or any other authorised officer upon request. The incident log will include the following information: All crimes reported to the venue or by the venue to the police All ejections of patrons Any incidents of disorder Any faults in the CCTV system Any visit by an officer of a responsible authority or emergency service All refused sales of alcohol
The premises will be maintained in a safe manner and all exits will be kept clear of hazards
All refuse shall be disposed of in an appropriate manner.
Staff to be instructed to maintain all external areas in a clean and presentable manner at all times.
A Challenge 25 proof of age policy will be implemented on the premises. Age verification shall only be by a current passport, photo driving licence, forces ID cards or any card that carries a PASS logo.
All staff will be trained to understand the policies Training records will be kept and available to the police.
