Licence conditions (13)
  1. PPN4 All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency. PPN6 The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action. PPN9 There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this includes reference to vehicles.) PPN10 No explosive, firework or pyrotechnic shall be discharged in or from the premises which may cause a disturbance to the local area. Notice of a proposed event shall be served on the Council, the Chief Fire Officer, the Environmental Health Officer and the Chief Police Officer, not less than 28 days before the proposed date of any such event. Any such event shall be conducted in accordance with conditions or restrictions required by the Chief Fire Officer, the Environmental Health Officer and the Chief Police Officer. PPN14 The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises is not permitted to take place after/between the hours of 2000 and 0800 to minimise disturbance to nearby properties. PPN 15 The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas and other external spaces of the premises is not permitted. PS1 - Gas Testing Any gas boiler, calorifier or other gas appliances will be tested at least every 12 months by CORGI authorised workmen and subsequent satisfactory and valid inspection report to be available on sit
  2. We comply with all the rules and regulations given to us by the many differing bodies to the best of our ability.
  3. Our premises are kept clean and tidy in all areas. All waste food is disposed of in black plastic bags into wheelie bins. Most bottles from the bar are returnable and left inside until collected; any other bottles are disposed of with the waste.
  4. The buildings are all locked up when not in use with the bug windows metal shuttered and some windows barred.
  5. All our outside benches are secured to the concrete or wall.
  6. Crime and disorder has not been an issue as the clientele of the club is mature - mostly senior citizens.
  7. All safety and fire regulations are adhered to with regular checks of equipment taking place.
  8. We have facilities for wheelchair users - a ramp to the building and a disabled toilet.
  9. Kitchen facilities are of a good standard and kept clean with a personal hand washing facility.
  10. Any member becoming offensive can be brought before the Committee and membership is taken away if necessary.
  11. No alcohol is taken out of the bar area.
  12. Children are always accompanied by an adult that they know, usually family, and never served alcohol.
  13. No children attend evening socials.
