  1. Film Exhibitions
  2. The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by the London Borough of Bexley.
  3. All windows to the premises will be kept closed at all times whilst regulated entertainment is being provided.
  4. No more than 600 persons (exclusive of staff) will be permitted on the premises at all times when the premises operate in accordance with this licence.
  5. The premises licence holder in conjunction with Bexley Police will risk assess the requirement for decanting and/or the use of polycarbonate glassware at the premises and use as and when deemed necessary by the risk assessment.
  6. For the purpose of paragraph 6(8) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this licence is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933,which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
  7. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours authorised under this licence, however this restriction does not prohibit:
  8. During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
  9. The consumption of alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
  10. The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
  11. The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
  12. The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces;
  13. The taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there;
  14. The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
  15. The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
  16. ii) Alcohol shall not be supplied or sold unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:
  17. With and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal;
  18. For consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation;
  19. To a canteen or mess.
  20. iii) No child shall be employed:
  21. So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
  22. To do any work other than light work;
  23. Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  24. Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
  25. For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  26. For more than two hours on any Sunday;
  27. Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
  28. For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school;
  29. For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
  30. At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
  31. iv) a) Where there is provided in any building an entertainment for children, or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then, if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds one hundred, it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or to any part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while e
  32. All doors to the premises will be kept closed except for access and egress after 23.00 hours.
  33. Signage to be placed in the rear corridor stating that it is to be kept clear of obstruction.
  34. A representative of the holder of the premises licence will carry out a twice-daily check of the rear area to make sure that it remains free of obstruction. Any issues with goods from other operators will be reported to the centre management and the operator to arrange for removal.
  35. The left hand entrance marked "A" on the plan annexed to the licence will be used for exit only on Friday and Saturday evenings.
  36. When regulated entertainment is being provided between 23.00 hours and 07.00 hours the following day noise from the provision of regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the façade/ boundary of nearby residential properties and the Geddes Place United Reformed Church.
  37. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 21" scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that, whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 21 years of age shall be required to provide ID. The only ID accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. UK photo driving licence; d. International photo drivers licence; or e. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority
  38. Children under the age of 16 years must always be accompanied by an adult who will be required to maintain supervision of them.
  39. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before a Bank Holiday, children under the age of 16 years shall not be allowed on the premises beyond 21:00 unless they are eating a meal, when they can remain on the premises until 21:30 hours. At all other times the presence of children under the age of 16 shall be risked assess by the DPS.
  40. Suitable food and non-alcoholic beverages shall be available at all times whilst children are allowed on the premises.
  41. The premises licence holder will continually risk assess the requirement for door supervisors at the premises in conjunction with Bexley Police and will employ such supervisors in such numbers and at such times as deemed necessary by that risk assessment.
  42. On occasions when door supervisors are engaged at the premises there shall be no new entry to the premises for the period of one hour before sale of alcohol ceases.
