Licence conditions (30)

For the purpose of paragraph 6(8) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this licence is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933,which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises;
ii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours permitted under this licence, however this restriction does not prohibit:
During the first twenty minutes after the permitted hour, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club; and
The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces;
iii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied to a canteen or mess
iv) No child shall be employed:
So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
To do any work other than light work;
Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
For more than two hours on any Sunday;
Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school;
For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; and c. show an accurate date in the format dd-mm-yyyy and time that the images were made.
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days.
The original CCTV images shall be shown immediately upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public. This staff member must be able to show recordings to a Police Officer or authorised council officer immediately upon request.
The original CCTV images, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
All spirits shall be placed on shelves behind a staffed counter.
Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the retail entrance to the premises and inside at the premises servery area.
Signs shall be displayed inside and outside of the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.
A book, or other form of record, a version of which must be in English, shall be kept in which shall be recorded the date, time and circumstances of the following: a. any refusal made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme, and b. any disorder, ejection or other relevant incident that occurs on the premises. This book, or record, shall be kept on the premises at all times they are open and shall be made available for inspection immediately upon demand by any police or community support officer or authorised person. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall frequently check the book to ensure all staff are using it and shall sign and date it immediately after the latest entry.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 12 months thereafter on a. the terms, conditions and restrictions of the premises licence; and b. the prevention of unlawful sales of alcohol, and the likely consequence of making an unlawful sale, which shall include: i. the operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; ii. types of acceptable ID; iii. the method of recording challenges; iv. refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; and v. preventing proxy sales. Such training shall be recorded, a version of which must be kept in English, and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police or community support officer or authorised person immediately upon demand.
