Guests of members are required to sign in at the door, and the number of guests any member may admit is limited for each year. The member name alongside the guest name entering the premises is required, along with a signature.
Written records of members admitting guests are available for inspection by the police or local authority.
The Bar Steward is trained in licensing matters and is competent to deal with issues on the premises.
Training is monitored by the Bar Manager and Rear Commodore House.
CCTV covers all outside aspects of the building.
There is a refusals book / incident book which is maintained at the premises.
Fire exits and means of escape shall be kept clear and in good operational condition.
Ensure that doors and windows are closed to prevent any excessive noise escaping from premises.
Members and guests are reminded to leave the premises quietly and that noise levels are kept to a minimum on leaving the building.
Anyone serving alcohol receives training in relation to the sale of alcohol and is aware of the 'Challenge 25' policy.
Children are unable to enter the venue without adult supervision.
Club rules state that children will be supervised at all times, and are not allowed in the bar area without a parent or guardian being present.
