All activities will be organised prior to the event date and approved by the Headteacher/Governing Body.
Events will be monitored by the Headteacher/senior staff/governors.
Organisers of events will be aware of Health and Safety issues e.g. fire and will inform attendees of evacuation/emergency procedures prior to the event.
School will ensure all servicing of safety equipment is undertaken on a regular basis and is up to date.
Events will be assessed for the need for risk assessments. If required they will be completed and revisited after the event for amendment/additions as necessary.
Events will be properly arranged in advance with those in charge being aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Those in charge will be aware of the limitations of the licence i.e. start and finish times.
Children will be under the supervision of school staff/governors/voluntary helpers who hold enhanced CRB clearance.
Parents will assist with the supervision but under the guidance of school staff/governors/voluntary helpers who hold enhanced CRB clearance.
