Licence conditions (17)

No tables or chairs shall be allowed at the front of the premises.
Authorised use of the rear garden area shall cease at 22:00 hours except for smoking by customers only. Conditions 1 to 2 above were imposed by the Licensing Sub-Committee on 17 January 2008.
The Licence holder shall ensure that a current telephone number for any enquirers is prominently displayed and visible from outside of the premises. Condition 3 above was imposed by the Licensing Sub-Committee on 3 March 2009 and amended by the Licensing Sub Committee on 2 February 2011.
The premises shall operate a ?Challenge 21? policy. This means that all customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 21 shall be required to produce acceptable ID to prove their age. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
The only ID accepted as proof of age in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be ? a proof of age card bearing the ?PASS? hologram logo; ? a passport; or ? a photo UK driving licence
A challenge book, or similar record, written in English, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a customer for off sales of alcohol has been challenged. This book, or other form of record, must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer.
Children under the age of 16 years shall only be permitted on the premises if accompanied by a responsible adult.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall, on induction and at least every six months thereafter, receive training on: ? operation of the ?Challenge 21? scheme; ? types of acceptable ID ? method of recording challenges; ? likely consequence of making an underage sale; ? refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; and ? proxy sales.
At all times that the premises operate under this Licence the CCTV system serving the premises shall: ? be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; and ? show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made.
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days, and the original, or a copy of the CCTV images, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer.
Copies of CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
Adequate lighting, at a level to enable clear CCTV images to be made, shall be maintained to the exterior of the premises.
A person capable of operating and downloading the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when licensable activities are being provided.
Alcohol shall only be sold to patrons intending to purchase a substantial table meal, or, patrons ordering take away food to the minimum value of £10.00.
No entertainment of an adult style or nature shall be provided at the premises.
That the provision of live entertainment at the premises shall be ancillary to its operation as a restaurant, that is to dining only.
Karaoke entertainment shall not be provided at the premises.
