Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions The licensee will ensure Challenge 25 is in operation. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 25 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises. A refusals register will be kept and maintained and will be available for inspection by an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority, a police officer or a Trading Standards Officer. All staff shall be trained regarding licensing legislation, especially in relation to the prevention of underage sales. Training records will be maintained and will be available for inspection by an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority, a police officer or Trading Standards Officer. Crime and Disorder A CCTV system will be installed and operated at the premises giving storage of images for a period of not less that 28 days.
