General Conditions
The Licensee will ensure that a comprehensive user file will be given to each external user which will contain: letting agreement: health and safety file: details of restrictions on use.
The Licensee will ensure that college staff will fully explain responsibilities to users prior to an event. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that the supply of alcohol will be incidental to entertainment events held at the premises and will only be available for the duration of such events.
The Licensee will ensure that all internal events organised by the College will be monitored by a suitable number of experienced college staff.
The Licensee will ensure that any external event users of the facilities will be required to put in place suitable measures to monitor and control access. College staff will assist in drawing up such plans and a college duty manager will be appointed to liaise with users for each event. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that the capacity limit of 300 for the Rowley Hall and 200 for the main school building will not be exceeded for any event.
The Licensee will ensure that the number of attendees will be controlled by issuing of tickets or other relevant restrictions on access for events open to the public.
The Licensee will ensure that all safety certificates and inspection records are held and kept up to date by the Maintenance Manager.
The Licensee will ensure that details of specific controls will be agreed in advance with each external users prior to each event.
The Licensee will ensure that a member of college staff will be appointed as a designated representative to ensure users of the facility are aware of their safety responsibilities. This individual will have access to all emergency details. Prevention of Public Nuisance
All doors and windows to those parts of Rowley Hall and the main building that are used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed after 23:00 hours, other than for routine access and egress, when authorised descriptions of regulated entertainment are taking place.
The volume of any amplification system used in connection with the playing or performance of any description of regulated entertainment shall be controlled such that it is non-intrusive at the boundaries of any nearby residential properties.
The Licensee will ensure for large events held at the premises car parking is supervised by experienced college staff. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will ensure that in the rare event of a play having an “adult content” suitable warnings will be given on all publicity material and appropriate restrictions made to access by minors.
