Licence conditions (9)

The Licence holder shall ensure that a CCTV system is installed at the premises of a standard acceptable to police. The system shall be maintained in good working order and fully operational covering all internal licensable areas of the premises to which the public have access. All entry and exit points shall be covered enabling frontal identification (full head and shoulders images) of every person entering the premises in any light condition to an evidential standard.
Management and permanent members of staff will be trained in the operation of the system with at least one member of this CCTV competent staff on duty each day.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall; a) Have the capability to either download footage onto disc or memory stick. b) The footage on the CCTV system will be retained for a minimum period of 31 days before re-writing itself with correct date and time showing. c) The footage shall be made available to police or local authority officers upon request. d) If the CCTV system is broken the Licence holder get the fault rectified as soon as practicable. e) The Licence holder shall ensure that a log is kept with details of the dates of all work/repairs carried out on the CCTV system including the name and phone number of the engineer. f) The installation or upgrading of any CCTV system shall comply with current best practice. g) There shall be "CCTV in Operation" signs prominently displayed at the premises.
A book or other form of record, a version of which must be in English, shall be kept in which shall be recorded the date, time and circumstances of: a) Any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. b) Any disorder, ejection or other relevant incident that occurs on the premises. This book, or record, shall be kept on the premises at all times they are open and shall be made available for inspection immediately upon demand by any police or community support officer or authorised person. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall frequently check the book to ensure all staff are using it and shall sign and ate it immediately after the latest entry.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 6 months thereafter on: a) The terms, conditions and restrictions of the Premises Licence; b) The prevention of unlawful sales of alcohol, and the likely consequence of making an unlawful sale, which shall include: i. The operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; ii. Types of acceptable ID; iii. The method of recording challenges; iv. Refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; and v. Preventing proxy sales; c) The operation of the CCTV equipment; and d) Drug awareness, which shall include training on the drugs policy applicable to the premises Such training shall be recorded, a version of which must be kept in English and these records shall on request be made available to any police or community support officer or authorised person immediately upon demand.
Alcohol shall only be sold to and consumed by persons taking a substantial table meal or to people waiting to be seated prior to having a table meal.
5.The outside are shall be closed to all patrons at 23:00 hours except for those using the outside area to smoke
Notice will be put up at the entrance/exit to remind customers to leave quietly.
