Licence conditions (23)

All staff will receive training with regard to the sale of alcohol.
Staff to have refresher training every 6 months and to fully understand the implications of the training.
Written records to be kept on the premises and available for inspection by police and authorities on demand.
The premises to have a digital CCTV system that is of a standard and specification agreed by police and acceptable for evidential use if required.
The CCTV would cover the area inside the shop including the proposed areas to be used for alcohol.
The CCTV would also cover the immediate area surrounding the outside of the store.
Images, where retained, will be kept for a minimum of 31 days and made available to any enforcement authority on request.
The CCTV system should be maintained and kept in good working order at all times.
If the CCTV system fails then all alcohol sales are to cease ( after a reasonable period of 48 hours) until it is fixed.
All alcohol sales are to be "visually recorded with sound recording" to ensure that "Challenge 21" is being adhered to.
All staff with the job of selling alcohol will require authorisation from the DPS in writing.
All staff and DPS to have a good conversational grasp of English, to be able to effectively read English in order to be able to implement "Challenge21".
The DPS is to have day to day control of the premises and be readily available to attend the premises on police request.
The premises will have an Intruder Alarm installed with a "Panic" button.
No staff under the age of 18 shall sell alcohol.
The store will adhere to all rules and regulations relating to Public Safety.
Management will support the running of the store including looking after customers and staff.
An adequate level of staff will be maintained at all times and a minimum of 2 staff shall be on the premises shop floor at all times, and any adjustments to these numbers amended as necessary as directed by the Police.
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be sold and consumed on the premises.
Hampshire Constabulary's "Challenge 21" policy to be operated on the premises with anyone who is attempting to buy alcohol.
The only acceptable forms of ID are Passport, Photo Driving Licence, National ID card or PASS approved ID card.
All tills to have prompts which will appear on the scanning of age restricted products (such as alcohol and cigarettes) telling the staff to check the age of the customer.
The store will display signage around the premises informing both staff and customers of the "Challenge 21" policy on alcohol.
