General Conditions
The premises will be managed in accordance with Club rules.
The Licensee will ensure that facilities and activities are limited to members, members' guests, visiting supporters, private functions and fund-raising events.
The Club's constitution provides disciplinary procedures for members.
Football activities are regulated and visiting teams and supporters are expected to behave in an appropriate manner. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that private functions have named, responsible persons present.
The Licensee will ensure that the Club has security and fire protection.
The Licensee will ensure that the exterior of the clubhouse and car park areas are illuminated in hours of darkness.
The Licensee will ensure that all outside buildings are secured and the clubhouse is locked when not in use.
The licensee will not adopt any drink promotion activities that undermine a policy of responsible drinking
The licensee will ensure that non alcoholic drinks are available at all times.
The licensee will report all instances of crime and disorder to Suffolk Constabulary and a record of the incident will be entered in a log book which must be kept on the premises during licensable activities.
The licensee will ensure that all staff are trained on the provisions of the premises licence and on the offences under the Licensing Act 2003 and a record of this training shall be kept on the premises. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that the Club complies with all HSE guidance and policies.
The Licensee will ensure that all fire regulations are adhered to, including alarm testing.
The Licensee will ensure that the Club participates in the local neighbourhood watch scheme.
The Licensee will ensure that litter and other waste materials are collected in lockable bins and removed once a week.
The Licensee will ensure that all internal facilities are regularly cleaned and maintained. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The performance of live music and dance outdoors and the playing of recorded music outdoors shall take place on no more than 6 occasions in any one calendar year. On such occasions the performance of live music and dance and the playing of recorded music shall finish no later than 22:00 hours.
After 22:00 all windows to the clubroom used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed when there are performances of live music and dance indoors, and when recorded music from a disco, karaoke or jukebox is being played indoors.
After 22:00 the external doors to the clubroom shall be kept closed, other than for access and egress, when there are performances of live music and dance indoors, and when recorded music from a disco, karaoke or jukebox is being played indoors.
The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
The use of a marquee or gazebo for the performance of live music and dance outdoors and the playing of recorded music outdoors shall only take place adjacent to the clubroom external doors in the shaded area highlighted on the 1:1000 scale site plan attached.
Customers will be encouraged to leave quietly.
The Licensee will ensure that litter is regularly removed from the premises. Protection of Children from Harm
The Club will implement a child protection policy.
Junior members and guests (under 18) are forbidden to play gaming machines, or to stand or sit at the bar counter.
The licensee will enforce a Challenge 21, proof of age scheme.
The licensee will ensure that children under the age of 16 are accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult over the age of 18 years whilst on the premises and that no children under the age of 16 years are allowed on the premises after 22:30hrs.
