At the time the Premises Licence has been granted and whilst it is in force, the DPS in situ must have completed and attained the following qualifications;
National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders
Prevention of Crime and Disorder:
No persons shall be admitted to, or allowed to remain on the premises who are or are suspected to be under the influence of, or in possession of, any illegal/illicit substance.
No persons shall be admitted to, or allowed to remain on the premises who are, or are suspected of being intoxicated.
Staff shall carry out regular checks of the toilet areas and other areas identified, to counter the use, selling or possession of drugs or other illegal or illicit substances.
The DPS, manager or other responsible person in charge of the premises shall liaise and comply with the Local Police Authority regarding their drugs policy, and will allow the use of IONTRAK machines or other drug/illicit substance detection device or method, at all times.
Public Safety:
Health and Safety Risk assessments shall be carried out prior to the Premises licence being effective and a copy retained for inspection upon request by an officer of the local Licensing Authority, Police or Fire Authority or other relevant person.
Fire Risk assessments shall be carried out prior to the Premises Licence being effective and a copy retained for inspection upon request by an officer of the local Fire Authority, Licensing or Police Authority or other relevant person.
On occasions of special events where audience members exceed normal limits, there shall be adequate staff/stewards available to ensure safety of patrons. The number of staff/stewards shall be near to or equivalent to:- One member of staff per one
hundred persons or part thereof.
Public Nuisance:
All doors and windows will be kept closed from 21.00 hours onwards when live or recorded music or karaoke or amplified sound or voice is taking place.
The volume of music or sound will be controlled so that no noise is discernible at the facade of the nearest noise sensitive dwellings.
Disposal of waste bottles into external receptacles where the noise will be audible to neighbouring properties must not occur between 23.00 and 10.00
In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area, in which the public or club members and guests are present, shall be fully operational at all times.
Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits / in the beer garden/outside areas, requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and the area quietly.
The following licensed activities that have the potential to create public nuisance shall not be permitted unless they are done so in accordance with the controls below:

No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
Cigarette dispensing machines shall be situated where they can be observed by staff at all times the premises is open to the public.
The Darts board shall not be made available for use to anyone under 18 years at any time the premises is open to the public.
