Licence conditions (16)

No refuse shall be disposed of from the premises into a receptacle where such disposal is likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the area of the premises at any time between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am on any day except Sunday when no such disposal shall take place before 10.00 am.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any odour which is likely to cause a nuisance to nearby premises.
All fixed plant and equipment at the premises that produce significant levels of noise are fitted with appropriate means of noise suppression and are restricted in their use so as to minimise disturbance to any neighbouring noise sensitive premises.
The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas and other external spaces of the premises is not permitted.
The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises is not permitted to take place after/between the hours of 2000 and 0800 to minimise disturbance to nearby properties.
Noise limiters are fitted to amplification equipment and have been set at a level agreed with Allerdale Borough Council Environmental Health Officers.
All regulated entertainment is provided by way of an in house PA system and management shall control such equipment to ensure nuisance is not caused.
All entrances and exits have a lobby entrance with at least one set of doors closed at all times to minimise the breakout of noise.
A noise management plan has been devised and is in operation at the premises. This must be submitted and agreed by ourselves before the premises is open and shall be updated and maintained at all times.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.)
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
All live music, regulated music, entertainment, film & dance including karaoke will cease Mon-Sun inclusive at midnight - juke box set with noise limiter device will be allowed Thurs-Sat Midnight-0200hours inclusive.
A CCTV system shall be in operation at all times during the operating hours of the licence. The system shall be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The CCTV images shall be stored in a secure location for a period no less than 28 days and made available upon request to any officer from the responsible authorities. The rear yard area used by customers will also have adequate CCTV coverage.
On Friday and Saturday there must be employed a minimum of two SIA registered door staff between 2000 and 0200. The Door supervisors must remain on duty until 30 minutes after the close of the premises.

The Door supervisors must remain on duty until 30 minutes after the close of the premises • The licence holder shall conduct a risk assessment for each event or trading period where licensable activities are carried out that might lead to an increase in trade e.g. funerals, boxing day. Where the risk assessment identifies a need for supervision to promote the licensing objectives, the licence holder shall ensure that appropriately trained and SIA-licensed door supervisors are deployed at the premises in such numbers and at such times as identified by the assessment. The risk assessment shall be made available to authorised officers up request. • This follows a period of three weekends where TENS have been used to remove the need for SIA supervisors. Risk Assessments were carried out during this time and SIA staff were deployed on one occasion when it was evident that a funeral wake was going to be held at the premises
