To ensure that contractual terms are adhered to, Tournerbury then holds preevent logistics meetings with its customers (and key stake-holders, such as parents of the bride and groom, outside caterers, mobile bar staff companies etc), to re-iterate their obligations of hire and steps the Estate will take if they are not met and to run through key timings and commitments such as live music finish time, bar closing time, etc.
Tournerbury has a strict hire contract which states that any function will be closed down immediately in the event of any drugs or weapons being bought on site.
There is an absolute 'Zero Tolerance' policy on such matters.
Tournerbury currently allow guests to either bring their own drink supplies or to hire in a licensed bar.
The "Challenge 21" scheme will be in operation whenever alcohol is on sale, and proof of identity will be required for anyone who appears to be under 21.
During the run up to a wedding function Tournerbury duty manager meets with other 'responsible adults' within a wedding party, such as parents of the bride and groom, so that in the event of any unforeseen, unacceptable or potentially illegal behaviour, the guest in question can be dealt with quietly and swiftly and removed from site if necessary.
Tournerbury have access to third party SIA trained security staff available at short notice in the event that a function looks like it has the possibility of getting out of hand.
Tournerbury requests that licensed mobile bar operators (or licensed caterers running a bar for guests) move over to the use of plastics or polycarbonates in the evening (normally after 7pm) and that glasses that have been used for the wedding breakfast on tables are removed during the table clearing process.
At least one member of Tournerbury staff is on-site throughout customer hire periods.
For larger events, there are more Tournerbury staff present.
Tournerbury staff all wear matching uniforms with the Estates Logo on.
The Estate's and the Duty Manager's mobile telephone numbers are supplied to Primary guests for help or assistance or in case of emergency.
All public areas of the Estate are lit at night by flood lights.
Taxi numbers are made available for all guests.
Fire risk assessments and measures have been undertaken by local HSE Consultancy PETA.
No smoking is allowed within the marquee or Woods Cottage.

First Aid equipment is available in Woods Cottage. All Tournerbury staff will receive First Aid training.
After close down, staff will conduct a visual check of the premises.
Tournerbury has installed a "Zone Array" sound ceiling within it's marquee.
This is a PA system that limits the spread and travel of sound waves away from source, as approved by an independent Acoustic Consultancy.
All DJ's, bands and ipod playlists etc must use our zone array system in the marquee.
Tournerbury does not allow live music to be played after 10:30pm at night.
Thereafter DJ's and ipod playlists are acceptable through the zone array.
The marquee where bands have to play has been extensively sound proofed to provide high levels of attenuation especially for lower bass and drum frequencies.
Tournerbury staff will monitor sound levels and ensure that it is kept within acceptable levels.
Tournerbury staff will be trained to recognise the signs of drunkenness and be proactive in the prevention of drink driving.
