All members of staff will be given training and support to assist in identifying crime and disorder and how to deal with it. All members of staff will receive approved training on the sale of age restricted product.
Alcoholic products sold through our on-site shop, website and telephone will be sold in sealed containers.
Premises will fully observe the 'Challenge 25' guidance and suitable ID proving age over 18 will be requested if in any doubt.
No-one under the age of 18 will be able to purchase alcohol from the shop or bar, even if for someone else. If it is suspected that the person buying alcohol is intending to give it to someone aged under 18 then their sale will be refused on this basis.
Premises will have 24 hour CCTV in operation on entrances and the inside of the premises. When not open, the front entrance will have a security grille in place and the premises will also be alarmed during non-opening hours.
For distillery tours the number of participants is limited and strictly controlled and usually with pre-paid bookings, therefore we do not anticipate nuisance behaviour.
To ensure litter is controlled there are bins provided around the market buildings.
No one under the age of 18 will be responsible for the sale of alcohol.
