Staff are trained in matters relating to licence issues and are trained to check id’s of anyone considered to be under age for the purchase of alcohol.
Off sales are restricted to the hours of 11.00 - 23.00.
A drugs policy is in force.
Adequate lighting is provided both internally and externally and CCTV covers all relevant areas.
CCTV images retained for 1 month and may be given to authorised officers. The hotel has personnel trained to use the system.
Provision of Emergency lighting throughout the premises.
Full fire and smoke alarm system (regularly tested) covers the entire building.
Escape/exit routes are clearly indicated from all floors and assembly points marked.
Evacuation chairs are provided on each landing.
A Night Porter is on duty throughout the night.
First Aid points are indicated at the Hotel Reception and at the Spa Reception.
Background music levels are controlled from staffed areas.
Management will ensure that the noise level is appropriate for the business of a country hotel.
All music in public areas is restricted to 02.00 except New Year’s Eve 04.00.
Proof of age will be asked for from anyone purchasing alcohol who is suspected of being under age.
Children are only permitted on the premises until 21.30 when accompanied by an adult, unless guests at a private party or are hotel residents.
