Licence conditions (13)

PS2 - Electrical Installation Testing The electrical installation shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an officer of the authority.
PS6 - First Aid There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials for the use of customers.
Noise emanating from the premises when assessed 1-2 metres from the façade of the nearest noise sensitive use shall not exceed an equivalent continuous sound pressure level (LA e.g.) of 40 dBA in any one hour period between the hours of 8am and 11pm. (and to 1am. on New Year’s Day). All measurements shall be carried out and rated in accordance with BS7445, part 1, 2 and 3.
PS1 - Gas Testing Any gas boiler, calorifier or other gas appliances will be tested at least every 12 months by CORGI authorised workmen and subsequent satisfactory and valid inspection report to be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
PS5 - Licensee Safety Inspection Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out by the licence holder to ensure that the premises are safe for use.
The Designated Premises Supervisor, when present, and all members of staff shall ensure that all lawful instructions and/or directions given by the Police are complied with.
Where CCTV equipment is fitted, it shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or Citizen card. If a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence or passport.
The licence holder and/or the Designated Premises Supervisor or a person nominated by them shall actively participate and be a member of a Pub or Club watch scheme for the area within which the premises is located.
There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials.
At all times when the public are present, at least one person who holds a current recognised first aid certificate or award shall be present on the premises. Where more than one such person is present their duties shall be clearly defined.
