Licence conditions (32)
  1. All outdoor music on the premises shall cease by 21.30.
  2. Outdoor music events shall be limited to 5 events per calendar year.
  3. All doors and windows shall be kept closed from 21.00 when live or recorded music, or karaoke, or any amplified sound or voice is taking place.
  4. The volume of music or sound shall be controlled so that no noise is discernible inside noise-sensitive dwellings at any time.
  5. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall provide effective and responsible management of the premises.
  6. No bottle bins are to be emptied after 23.00
  7. AWP and cigarette machines are to be located close to the bar and in sight of the bar at all times. Use of the machines is to be monitored by staff to prevent access to persons under age.
  8. All staff shall be trained and supervised by the Designated Premises Supervisor.

  10. The Designated Premises Supervisor will undertake a risk assessment in respect of the provision of door supervisors on a weekly basis. The risk assessment records must be kept at the premises and made available to an authorised officer of the Police or Licensing Authority on request.
  11. The premises licence holder or designated premises supervisor must keep an incident register. Staff are to be trained to complete an incident book / record immediately after the incident and no later than the end of the shift. The register must be kept on the premises and will detail:

  14. Resolution
  15. Each entry is to be checked and signed by the Designated Premises Supervisor or Premises Licence Holder no later than one week after the entry has been made.
  16. The incident register must be made available to Police, Police Licensing Officers and authorised officers from the Local Authority either electronically or hard copy.
  17. A personal licence holder shall be present at all times that the premises are trading for the sale of alcohol.
  18. The CCTV system shall be checked daily prior to licensable activities taking place and records kept to that effect. If the system has a fault, it is to be reported immediately to Police Licensing via 101 / online or by email
  19. Staff shall regularly check the external areas of the premises and remove empty glassware promptly. Records of such checks shall be kept at the premises.
  20. CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. a. Cameras shall encompass all ingress, egress and include all areas to which the public have access, including fire escapes, stairwells and where the supply of alcohol occurs (with the exception of areas agreed by the Police, for example toilet cubicles). b. The CCTV shall be recording at all times that the premises are open to the public. c. Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings MUST be kept on the hard drive and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police upon reasonable request. d. The Premises Licence Holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed members of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format to the Police and Local Authority upon reasonable request. e. The Police or local authority will be given a copy of the CCTV in a suitable format within 48 hours of any reasonable request.
  21. The DPS will be responsible for the maintaining of an incident book at the premises and this book will log all incidents which are "out of the ordinary" whether police are called or not.
  22. All persons that sell or supply alcohol to customers must have licensing training. a. Training should take place within six weeks of employment and any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place. b. Refresher training should be repeated a minimum of every six months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation. c. Training records must be kept on the premises and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training. d. Records must be made available for inspection by Police, Police Licensing Officer and authorised officers from the Local Authority upon request either electronically or hard copy.
  23. The premises will undertake the "Challenge 25" Scheme.
  24. All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol will be trained in the "Challenge 25" Scheme and such training will be recorded.
  25. The only proof of age that will be accepted by staff will be a photographic driving licence, a passport or a 'PASS' marked proof of age card.
  26. A refusal register will be in operation at the premises. All staff involved in the sale of alcohol will be fully trained in the system and it will record the following: a. Item refused. b. Name of description of the person refused. c. Reason for refusal. d. Name of staff member making refusal
  27. The register will be available for inspection to any Police Officer, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer at any reasonable time.
  28. The outside garden bar will closed for the sale of alcohol by/at 10pm on any night that it is operating.
  29. There will be at least one member of staff working within the outside bar at all times it is open for sale of alcohol.
  30. The premises shall have a written drug policy, this will detail the strategies to minimise the use and supply of illegal drugs within the premises. This will entail an agreed procedure for the handling and retention of any article seized. Where premises consider a drug's safe to deposit drugs found, there will be a clear policy for the handling and packaging of seized items. For premises with a suitable 'drug safe' the items secured within the safe would not be considered as being in possession. For premises that do not have a drug safe they must have a written agreement with police as to a procedure in the collection or delivering drugs to police.
  31. To allow the use of IONTRACK. (Drug testing Machine), within the premises, (or curtilage of the premises). To allow swabbing for detection of drugs use when deemed necessary by Police.
  32. Notices shall be displayed on the premises requesting customers to leave the premises quietly.
