Credit Sales (from original Justices Licence)
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:
(a) with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, is consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal;
(b) for consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation;
(c) to a canteen or mess.
Permitted Hours (from original Justices Licence)
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
(a) On the following weekdays, namely Monday to Friday, other than Christmas Day, or Good Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m,
(b) On Saturdays, other than Christmas Day or New Years Eve, 10am to 11p.m.;
(c) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Years Eve, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
(d) On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.
(e) On Christmas Day, 12 noon to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
(f) On New Year's Eve, except on a Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
(g) On New Year's Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m
(h) On New Year's Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
Regulated Entertainment - (from original Justices Licence)
Unless otherwise specified on this licence no regulated entertainment shall take place at the premises with the exception of pre-booked private events limited to the provision of music and dancing for pre-invited guests.
A person holding a personal licence will be on the premises during all times alcohol is being served or regulated entertainment provided
All external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech are taking place.
Prominent, clear and legible notices are displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Delivery and refuse collection times should not take place before 7:30 hours or after 19:30 hours.
The playing of live or recorded music in the garden area of the premises in not permitted after 21.30 hours and the area then closed to the public.
No admission to the premises after Midnight on all days.
All alcohol will be served in toughened glasses
Irresponsible drinking related promotions are not to be permitted.
No regulated entertainment shall occur until a suitable noise limiter has been installed and set at a level agreed with Sevenoaks District Council's Environmental Health Team. This level may be varied at any time if deemed necessary by the Council.
Hearing Date - 23rd December 2025 CCTV CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
Cameras shall record all ingress and egress to the premises; fire exits and all areas where the sale and supply of alcohol occur.
Equipment must be maintained in good working order, with recordings correctly time and date stamped. Recordings MUST be kept in date order, kept for a period of 31 days and handed to police and authorised officers on reasonable request.
The premises licence holder must always ensure a DPS, or appointed member of staff are on the premises and are capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format to the police and local authority on reasonable request.
The recording equipment and discs/tapes shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or another responsible named individual.
Should the CCTV system break, the police licensing officer and Local Authority Licensing will be notified within 48 hours. Licensing Act 2003 Training All persons who sell or supply alcohol to customers must have licensing training including to cover (i) the Licensing Act 2003 in terms of the licensing objectives and offences committed under the Act; (ii) the conditions of the Premises Licence; and (iii) the sale of age-restricted products.
Training must take place within six weeks of employment.
Any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place.
Refresher training should be repeated a minimum of every six months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation.
Training records must be kept on the premises and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training.
Records must be made available for inspection by police, police licensing officer and authorised officers from the Council on reasonable request either electronically or in hard copy. Zero Tolerance Drug Policy The premises licence holder shall implement a written zero tolerance drugs policy requiring all staff to be trained in dealing with persons who are incapacitated through the use of drugs or the combined effects of drugs and alcohol. The drugs policy shall also detail the strategies to minimise the use and supply of illegal drugs within the premises. The drugs policy shall include a structured training programme covering the issues relevant to the misuse of drugs in relation to licensed premises which shall be delivered to all staff. This policy shall be deposited with the Licensing Team of Sevenoaks District Council. The premises licence holder shall ensure that, in relation to the drug policy, a staff training register is maintained for the premises. The training register to include details of all training records for individual members of staff. The training register shall be made available on reasonable request to a Police Officer or an Authorised Officer of the Licensing Authority. Anti-Drug Initiatives To allow the use of IONTRACK. (Drug testing Machine), within the premises, (or curtilage of the premises), as a condition of entry, at the request of, and after consultation with Police. To allow swabbing for detection of drugs use when deemed necessary by Police.
