Licence conditions (1)

a) To remove all embedded restrictions. b) All doors and windows shall be kept closed from 23.00 hrs including the kitchen and food preparation areas except for access and egress purposes. c) No alcoholic drinks or food sold by the club shall be consumed outside the building, including the terraces, after 23.00 hrs. d) i. an electronic sound limiter shall be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the local authority, of a type which monitors sound and provides a mains switching facility. The unit must be capable of monitoring sound levels via a tamper-proof built in or external microphone and operate such that if a preset level is exceeded for a preset short period of time (being no greater than 30 seconds in any event), then the mains power is disconnected from the sound source. The noise limiter shall be wired so as to control any built in music sound system provided within the premises and also to control any power sockets which visiting musicians and the like and others, may use to power any sound source brought onto the premises. ii. The preset sound levels for these premises shall be set and maintained at a maximum level of 97dB(a). iii. All loudspeakers shall be positioned and orientated in accordance with the recommendations set out in the Cole Jarman Associates report of November 2005. A plan shall be provided to the licensing authority showing these positions and orientation. Loudspeakers shall be maintained in these positions at all times during regulated entertainment. iv. The designated supervisor or duty manager shall ensure that these conditions are complied with at all times during which regulated entertainment takes place on the premises. v. When regulated entertainment is taking place, the doors and windows must be kept shut, and the mechanical ventilation system utilised to provide the necessary air change within the building.
