Licence conditions (13)

Annex 2 - Conditions that are consistent with the applicant's operating schedule
a) Public Safety
i. Contractors will be required to supply a comprehensive risk assessment of their own, as well as a copy of their health and safety policy & safe systems of work.
b) Prevention of public nuisance
i. Doors and windows will be kept closed after 23:00 hours, save for ingress and egress, during all live music events.
ii. The licence holder shall ensure that any noise emanating from the premises is such as not to cause annoyance or disturbance to residents in the locality.
c) Protection of children from harm
i. The age verification policy shall be the "Challenge 25" scheme. Any person who attempts to purchase alcohol in the premises and who appears to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce identification that proves that they are over 18 years of age before alcohol is supplied to them. The only acceptable forms of identification shall be a passport, photo card driving licence, an EU/EEA national ID card or a government approved card bearing the PASS hologram. All persons who supply alcohol under the authority of this licence shall be trained in the operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme before they supply alcohol and refresher training shall be provided to each person at intervals of no greater than 12 months. Each training session shall be documented and signed by the person being trained. All training records shall be retained on the premises for a minimum of 12 months and made available for inspection by a police constable or authorised officer on request.
ii. Films or any other entertainment that are aged restricted will be clearly advertised as such and door staff will ask for photographic ID if necessary.
iii. No staff under 18 will be employed behind the bar or where 18 restricted films are shown.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached by the Licensing Authority after a hearing
c) The prevention of public nuisance
i. An SIA door supervisor shall be present in the outside area to control the use of the outside area between 22:00 and the close of the premises so as to prevent noise nuisance.
