Licence conditions (13)

CCTV shall be installed on the licensed premises and fully maintained, showing correct date and time information. CCTV to cover the internal licensable area, any outdoor seating and smoking area. CCTV shall provide clear images of people entering and exiting the licensable area. There shall be one member of staff during licensable hours, trained to use the CCTV and provide copies at the request of Police or other authorised licensing authority. All CCTV footage to be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
Staff training shall be recorded and updated every 6 months. Training shall cover: • The licensing objectives. • The requirements for ID as part of age verification. • Dealing with an intoxicated person • Dealing with disorderly incidents /disorderly persons • Dealing with drug related activity on a licenced premise. • Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol • Recording of incidents • Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults • Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
An incident log shall be maintained on the premises, which documents the date and time of any incidents involving the premises, which could undermine the licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: i. All crimes reported at the venue ii. All ejections of patrons iii. Any complaints received concerning crime and disorder iv. All drugs seized or found v. Any incidents of disorder vi. Any faults in the CCTV system, including action taken to remedy vii. Persons banned from the premises
There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least monthly) by the DPS.
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure a 'Challenge 25'policy is always adopted on the premises. Signage of the 'Challenge 25 'policy shall be prominently displayed on the premises.
A Challenge 25 policy will be in force from the outset. the Premises Licence Holder will require all bar staff to request proof of age. Acceptable age verification documents will only be Proof of Age cards with the 'PASS" hologram, UK Photo Driving Licence, Military lD, Passport or European Union Member state lD card with photo.
Warnings will be displayed on the premises to remind customers that any purchase of alcohol must be made by someone over 18.
Challenge 25 will apply to all sales and the Premises Licence Holder will require that bar staff are instructed in relation to the Challenge 25 procedures.
A Challenge 25 policy will be rigorously enforced, and we will stock a range of soft drinks with children in mind.
There may be Comedy Nights where the material would not be suitable for anyone under 18; this will be strictly controlled so that no children are admitted.
Public safety is of paramount importance. Health and Safety Risk assessments will be undertaken, and staff shall be trained to acceptable standards.
If there is a Pub Watch group operating within the area, we will join that group.
At the first sign of any person attempting to commit a crime or act in a disorderly manner will result in instant ejection and embargo forthwith.
