Seaglass Coffee is committed to upholding all four licensing objectives through responsible management, staff training and operating procedures. We will maintain a safe, well-controlled environment manage our premises in a way that prevents crime or disorder protect public safety minimise any potential nuisance to neighbours and safeguard children from harm. Our approach includes proactive supervision, clear policies, appropriate staff training and measures that ensure alcohol services and any recorded music remain low risk and community- friendly
To prevent crime and disorder, we will - Ensure responsible and trained staff oversee all alcohol sales - Refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or acting in a disorderly manner - Maintain clear visibility across the premises to allow effective supervision - Always store alcohol securely - Work cooperatively with local authorities police should any concerns arise - Keep evening dining event pre-booked or controlled where appropriate to maintain a calm family- friendly environment These measures will ensure the premises remain a safe, low-risk setting for the community
To protect public safety, we will - Maintain all facilities equipment and fixtures to a safe hygienic standard. - Keep walkways, exits and the seating area clear to ensure safe customer movement. - Carry out regular safety checks including fire safety and kitchen equipment check. - Ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures and understand how to respond to incidents - Manage Occupancy sensibly, ensuring the premises never becomes overcrowded Our aim is to provide a safe, accessible environment for all customer, including during an early evening dining event
To prevent nuisance to neighbours and the local community, we will - Play recorded music only at low, ambient levels - Ensure that any extended opening hours summer, Easter, or bank holiday are managed responsibly. - Prevent noise escape by keeping windows/doors closed during evening activities where appropriate - Control waste disposal responsibly and at suitable times to avoid disturbance. - Manage customer behaviour when leaving the premises to ensure quiet and respectful departure These measures help ensure our operations do not create noise, disturbance or inconvenience
To protect children from harm we will - Operate a strict Challenge 25 policy for alcohol service - Refuse alcohol service to anyone without appropriate ID OR SHOWING SIGNS OF INTOXICATION - Ensure children are always supervised by an adult on the premises - Prevent access to any restricted areas such as kitchen or storage spaces - Ensure staff are trained to identify and respond to any safeguarding concerns. Our premises is a family- friendly environment, and we will continue to uphold safe and responsible practices for all young visitors.
