Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions Crime and Disorder The premises licence holder will operate a Challenge 25 policy and seek photo identification from any member of the public who appears to be under the age of 25. The premises licence holder will operate a refusals register to keep a record of all purchases refused. The premises licence holder will participate in any local pubwatch scheme. The premises licence holder will have a working CCTV system in the premises. Recordings will be stored for a period of 28 days and will be available upon request to a police officer or authorised officer of the licensing authority. Public Safety Prevention of Public Nuisance Protection of children from harm All staff will seek credible photo proof af age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 25 and who is seeking to purchase alcohol.
