Guidance in the Bowness Community Group’s policy documents for the following shall be adhered to at all times; Equal Opportunities Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults & Children Finance Data Protection These documents will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary.
Alcohol shall be only be sold by approved members of the Bowness Community Group from the kitchen area to eligible customers in compliance with the Law.
A Designated Premises Supervisor “staff authorisation document” will be held confirming that all staff approved by the members of the Bowness Community Group to sell alcohol have read and signed this document, which outlines all compliance details and responsibilities pertaining to the sale of alcohol.
A proof of age policy will be implemented on the premises. Age verification shall carried out where it is suspected that a person is below the legal age.
A book detailing any refusal of alcohol sales or relevant incidents shall be kept on the premises.
Statutory safety controls and needs as outlined by the current fire certificate, Public & Employee Liability Insurance and Equality Act 2010 and subsequent legislation, shall be reviewed where issues arise, and Bowness Community Group will provide a Risk Assessment for each type of event held on the premises.
Wheelchair access and toilet facilities comply with existing access requirements.
All local residents are beneficiaries (or registered members/trustee directors) of services offered by the Bowness Community Group and have access/involvement to regular meetings.
