Licence conditions (25)

All staff involved in the sale of alcohol will be trained in licensing law. Such training records shall be auditable and shall be produced at the request of a Police Officer or officer of the local Licensing Authority.
There shall be a 30 minute wind down period after the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol has ended.
There shall be a sufficient number of staff on duty when licensable activities are taking place.
Prominent, clearly worded signs shall be displayed at the points of entry and points of sale advising customers attempting to purchase alcohol that they may be requested to provide proof of age.
No person shall be allowed to leave the curtilage of the premises whilst in possession of an open container containing alcohol.
There shall be no drinks promotions or advertisements which are intended or are likely to encourage persons to consume alcohol to an excessive extent.
A 'Challenge 25' policy shall be in place which requires any person attempting to purchase alcohol and who appears to be under the age of 25 to produce appropriate and valid photographic identification. Appropriate and Valid Identification shall be:

CCTV shall be installed at the premises and maintained in good order and recordings will be kept for a minimum of 31days.
CCTV to be fitted to a standard agreed to by Kent Police that complies with the CCTV code of practice (2008 edition), with all public areas, including all access and egress points covered.
The CCTV system will be maintained and serviced on a regular basis and records kept to that effect.
CCTV shall be operational at all times that members of the public and / or staff are on the premises.
Images will be retained for a period of at least one calendar month by whatever means the licence holder deems appropriate.
The Police or Local Authority will have access to these images at any reasonable time and in any case within 48 hrs of the request for the image being made.
The Police or Local Authority will be allowed to take a recording by way of tape, CD Rom or any other means of the image within 48 hrs of the initial request being made by either Police or Local Authority.
Staff will be fully trained in the CCTV system and there will be at least one member of staff on duty during trading hours who is able to provide a recording of any incident at the request of Police or Licensing Authority.
A Fire Risk assessment will be carried out and a written policy produced. All measures will be implemented.
Adequate arrangement will be in place to accommodate disabled people and enable their safe movement within the premises and their safe evacuation in case of emergency
Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
At least one suitably trained first aider will be on duty whenever the public are present.
No person under the age of 18 years will be allowed ton the premises after 23.00 hours unless attending a private pre booked function or event.
All staff will be fully trained in 'Challenge 25 ' and the training will be fully auditable and available to any responsible authority on request.
Notices to advise customers that 'Challenge 25' is in force will be prominently displayed in all areas.
The only proof of age that will be accepted will be a passport, photographic driving licence or an accredited 'PASS' marked proof of age card.
