The shop will maintain high standards with regard to public safety, prevention of crime, prevention of public nuisance and protection of children by limiting the amount and type of alcohol that is for sale. In essence, the type of products we sell will only appeal to mature and discerning customers and the pricing of it will reflect this.
A clear notice will be in place to advise customers that alcohol is only for sale to persons over the age of 18.
The shop policy will be to ask for proof of identity for anyone thought to be younger than 21.
Our fire risk assessment will be adhered to with regard to signage etc. for emergency exits, fire alarms and extinguishers.
Emergency lighting already exists within the shop.
The premises will only be open during the hours specified.
No alcohol will be sold to anyone under the age of 18.
The products stocked (local beer etc) will not in general be appealing to younger people.
A recognised proof of age card will be required by those who look younger than 21. If any doubt about age exists, then no alcohol will be sold to them.
