General - all four licensing objectives:
Have regular communication with Pubwatch and local police force.
Train staff be alert and never to sell alcohol to anyone under age or who has already had too much to drink.
To hold regular health and safety training sessions with staff.
To ensure children are properly cared for.
The prevention of crime and disorder:
Participate in local Pubwatch group / ring around scheme. and maintain relationship with local police.
Staff training to ensure any potential trouble makers are quickly identified and if necessary removed from the restaurant.
Encourage clients to take care of their bags at all times.
Public safety:
Staff trained to serve hot food safely.
Restriction of number in the restaurant.
Sufficient space to move around the tables.
No loose wires, rugs, carpets to trip over.
The prevention of public nuisance:
People who are obviously drunk will not be admitted.
No customer will be served so much alcohol that they become abusive.
Any customer starting to show of abusive behaviour will be asked to leave and if necessary police will be called.
The protection of children from harm:
Children up to the age of 18 will not be allowed to consume alcohol other than 16 or 17 year olds where bottled beer is purchased for them with a meal by an accompanying adult also having a meal.
All young children must be accompanied and controlled by their parents, to remain in their seats, not allowed to run around otherwise they will have to leave.
We want a child/family friendly environment without the associated danger of children running around.
