Lenham Community Centre has full coverage CCTV system covering all public areas. Outside Car Park and vehicle entrance is covered by CCTV.
Lenham Community Centre is monitored offsite at all times when centre is not in use.
Security systems are monitored by the Trustees Management Committee on a regular basis.
All users are advised of emergency exits. List of Telephone Numbers are available so that a member of the management team can be contacted any time during their allotted time
All hirers who leave the site in the evening are reminded that we have local neighbours and to please leave quietly.
All weddings and 18th and 21st birthday Parties are investigated prior to accepting the booking and are restricted to the residents or family of residents of the Parish of Lenham and Harrietsham.
Activities for children, young people and other vulnerable adults are only provided by fit and proper persons in accordance with the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and any subsequent legislation.
When requested, hirers must provide the trustees with a copy of their Safeguarding Policy and evidence that they have carried out relevant checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
