Regular planning meetings take place with the police. Recommendations and advice are implemented.
Ticket sales are by advance purchase only. No tickets are sold at the door. Admission is by ticket only. Numbers are limited within the marquee’s capacity.
There are licenced doormen and around 100 volunteers and staff to oversee the occasion. Licensed doormen cover the entrance.
A prompt closure at the end of each evening disperses festival goers without any trouble and there is no history of disturbance to neighbouring properties.
Temporary toilets are provided in an ancillary tent.
Fire equipment and electrical equipment are provided and checked.
There are seven exit points to permit swift evacuation if necessary.
Children will be allowed into the licensing premises only when accompanied by an adult who is supervising them.
