Licence conditions (13)

Applicant shall install CCTV inside and outside the premises and be of good quality specification which will be retained for a minimum of 28 days. CCTV shall cover entry and exit to cover the face.
Applicant shall have on the premises, a person(s) who is trained to access and provide the CCTV footage on request of a responsible partner (e.g. Police, Licensing, Environmental Health).
The premises shall operate a Challenge 25 Scheme and train all staff on this.
The applicant shall engage with the Ask Angela/Ask for Clive campaign and have staff trained on this.
Each member of staff will receive training in Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). They will know how to report any issues they face.
Policies and operating procedures will be followed and maintained to reflect the four licencing obectives: a. The prevention of crime and disorder b. Public safety c. The prevention of public nuisance d. The protection of children from harm.
Alcohol shall be stored in a locked area when there is not an event on.
No cash shall be kept on the premises overnight.
The building shall be secured when not in use.
All hirers of the Institute shall be vetted when they book the hall.
To maintain public safety valid Public Liability Insurance and Employer’s Liability Insurance shall be held.
Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire shall be available to people hiring the premises which outlines measures to be taken to minimise public nuisance during events.
The Borrowdale Institute’s Safeguarding Policy shall be followed to ensure that Child Protection Issues are addressed, where necessary, by the Trustee responsible for Safeguarding.
