There will be a maximum of 6 outdoor events per year.
The only events that will take place will be approved by the school senior leadership team. Any Events held would be school focused, whether fundraising for the school or school activities
Strictly no smoking on-site at any time
The premises are school grounds. Any audience exceeding 499 for Licensable activities would be in the outside area.
The main School buildings will be locked during outdoor events.
On Silkham Road part of the school, any activity would be on the hard standing area of the playground which is almost entirely encased by the school buildings. This is most likely to be used in the winter or inclement weather conditions.
On Downs Way area of the school there is a large field. This will also be used for Events at other times of the year.
A strict number count will take place to avoid the risk of over-crowding.
Any person who appears drunk / aggressive will not be permitted on the premises.
A trained first aider to be on-hand with kit.
A full risk assessment will be conducted to identify any potential issues and a plan put in place to avoid the risks.
Attendees at the Events would be encouraged to park in town and walk to the premises.
Volunteers will be on hand to help run the event and ensure it doesn't cause any public nuisance.
Events will be kept to social hours finishing at 23:00h at the latest.
Evening guests will be asked to leave quietly.
The most recent Event Management Plan in place will be strictly adhered to and noise management checks are carried out at the nearest noise sensitive property and recorded, and results shown on request to Responsible Authorities.
Adequate litter bins will be out with regular emptying of rubbish.
Any event organiser will be DBS checked.
Ensure that children are aware who to approach for help if needed.
The admission of children to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted according to the classification of the film by the film classification body designated by section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
