All Facets of the Event Management Plan will be strictly adhered to during the Event , as well as during set up and breakdown.
The event is one weekend per year, and that the noise monitoring will be carried out to ensure compliance with the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts by a competent person: The results of the monitoring shall be provided to Environmental Health.
The maximum attendance of all persons allowed at any given time within the licensable area when licensable activity takes place is 1,500 or less dependent on the Event Risk Assessment.
The Designated Premises Supervisor will be present when licensable activity takes place, on the premises.
A Personal Licence Holder shall be present to supervise bar staff and monitor alcohol sales throughout the times retail sale of alcohol takes place.
Alcohol will not be permitted to be brought onto the venue and guests will not be permitted to remove alcohol from the perimeter of the venue.
All staff shall receive training on the four licencing objectives and action to be taken to promote the objectives, for the event and venue.
The Premises Licence Holder shall employ the services of an accredited SIA company, to safeguard guests and provide security at the event at a ratio of 1 SIA for every 150 guests. SIA to wear high visibility vests.
Patrons shall be searched as a condition of entry by SIA staff, in accordance with procedures set out in the Event Management Plan.
The Premises Licence Holder shall have policy within the Event Management Plan on dealing with seizure of drugs and prohibited articles, incidents of crime and disorder, policy on missing persons and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adult.
The event shall be ticketed and all persons shall be issued with a wrist band .The wrist band issued to an under 18 shall be a different colour to an adult as a condition of entry and hold contact details of their parent/guardian.
There shall be no glassware on site and all refreshments shall be served in plastic glasses, plastic bottles and cans.
The viewing platform at the 'Rum Shack' shall at all times be monitored and controlled by a steward who will have an event radio, with capacity limits maintained at all times, in accordance with the Event Management Plan.
The Premises Licence Holder shall operate a challenge '25' policy for the sale of alcohol and ensure bar staff check proof of age documents at point of sale.
Age Restrictions for entry - Ken Fest is open to anyone of any age. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 21+ years at all times during the festival. Parents will not be allowed to drop children off and leave them for the day they must be paying guests at the event and remain with their children at all times. Children aged 12 and under attend for free.
Those aged 17 and under may attend of their own accord but must wear an Under 18's wristband with the contact details of their parents or guardians.
DBS cleared S.I.A staff will be on hand to deal for children.

Protection from Aural Harm - Hearing defenders will be available for parents to borrow for a small refundable deposit from the Welfare tent onsite. Parents and guardians will be informed of this facility in advance of the event.
A zero tolerance shall be taken with regards to controlled drugs on site. Anyone found in possession shall be escorted off the site and barred from re-entering the site, whilst safeguarding of anyone vulnerable or under 18, in accordance with the Event Management Plan. Welfare councillors will be onsite to offer information on the dangers of drugs and support to any drugs users
Locked amnesty bins which are provided at the entrance to the arena encourage any attendees carrying drugs to hand them in before attempting to enter otherwise anyone found in possession shall be escorted off the site and barred from re-entering the site, any drugs found will be confiscated, recorded placed in secure locked bins to be handed to the Police.
The festivals strict zero tolerance policy on drugs is advertised on the festivals website in the FAQ and Terms and Conditions sections.
All guests will be searched on entry, any weapons found will be confiscated recorded and placed in a secure locked bin and the police called.
Violent persons will not be admitted to the site. A licensed security team will be available for easy deployment to any incident on or off site.
A refusal and Incident book shall be maintained and reviewed by the DPS, during the event.
Stewards assisting taxi marshalling, facilitating minimum disruption to traffic users, directing patrons to and from the venue and providing information to patrons whilst at the venue, shall wear high visibility vests and receive a personal safety pre briefing.
Signage shall be placed around the exit to request that customers leave the premises quietly and stewards shall assist customers to leave safely.
SIA security shall located at the entrance, and will also patrol the bar and entertainment area, the perimeter, the parking sites and provide safe dispersal of the patrons.
Egress Dispersal - The security team will carry out post event crowd dispersal. A dispersal plan will be available as part of the Crowd Management Plan
The Event Management Plan shall be reviewed annually and then be submitted to the Local Authority, no less than two months prior to any event authorised by the premises licence.
The Event Management Plan, Event Risk Assessment and Crowd Management Plan as agreed with the Safety Advisory Group and Responsible Authorities, shall be strictly adhered to.
The Traffic Management Plan shall be reviewed annually and be incorporated into the Event Management Plan.
