On occasions when amplified music is provided for entertainment purposes, the level of the same should be reduced to background levels from 23.30 each night, save for New Year's Eve when the levels must be reduced at 01.00.
Notices shall be displayed at the premises encouraging customers to leave quietly.
Whenever regulated entertainment in the form of live or recorded music is provided inside the premises, all doors and windows should be closed at 23:30 and shall remain closed thereafter, except for normal access and egress and in the event of an emergency.
No regulated entertainment in the form of live or recorded music shall be provided in any external area (including inside any marquee erected in the external area) after 23:00, other than on N ew Year's Eve when such entertainment may be provided until 01:00 hours, provided the same a s inside a marquee.
The consumption of food and alcohol shall not be permitted in any external area after 23:00, save that if any organised function is being held inside a marquee erected for that purpose in the external area, the consumption of food and alcohol inside the marquee may continue until 24:0.
Any performance of a play shall only be permitted within the external areas shown on the approved plans and not within the pub building itself.
The following condition shall apply in respect of any event involving the supply of alcohol or the provision of regulated entertainment due to take place in the external area hatched red on the approved plan and in respect of which the anticipated attendance is 100 persons or more: i. The holder of the licence, the DPS or the organiser of the event shall undertake a written risk assessment, the purpose of which will be to determine: ii. Whether it is appropriate to deploy SIA registered door supervisors in conjunction with the event, and, if so, the number of such supervisors and the time(s) of their deployment; iii. Whether it is appropriate to deploy stewards in conjunction with the event, and, if so, the number of such stewards and the time(s) of their deployment; iv. What if an additional measures are needed to control noise from the event; v. Whether parking and any traffic management arrangements are sufficient; vi. What if any first aid, fire safety, lavatory/sanitary and/or child protection measures should be put in place; vii. Whether it is appropriate to notify neighbouring properties of the event; viii. Whether it is appropriate to notify the police or any other authority of the vent; ix. For so long as any regulations or guidance is in place with regard to coronavirus, what steps need to be taken to comply with the same.
In undertaking the risk assessment, regard will be had to (inter alia); i. The overall nature of the event; ii. The number of likely attendees; iii. The age profile of those likely to attend: iv. The duration of the event; v. Whether the event is open to the public or a private event; vi. The nature of any entertainment to be provided; vii. Any known previous history of a similar event or an event organised by the same person/organisation; viii. What catering arrangements will be in place.
Copies of all risk assessments shall be retained for a period of at least 12 months from the date of the event and made available for inspection by the police or any other authorised officer on request.
